Community participation remains a cornerstone: Lumajira employs participatory tools like community scorecards, focus group discussions, and co-creation workshops to ensure programs reflect local priorities, respond to contextual needs, and uphold the SDG principle of “leaving no one behind.”

By focusing on the informal economy—where the majority of Kenyans earn their livelihoods—we directly contribute to Vision 2030’s goals of job creation, poverty eradication, equitable growth, and transformation into a newly industrialized middle-income country.
